Administrative Council Meeting – July 9, 2015
Present: Robin Priebe, Pat Gorham, Val Prax, Pastor Rob Pesola, Dick Smith, Janell Anderson, Naomi Schultz,
Jan Anderson, Edna Cole.
Meeting called to order by Chairman, Robin, at 7 p.m. Minutes of June 11 meeting reviewed and upon
motion by Pat/Jan/carried and approved. Pastor Rob led prayer.
Pastor: Annual meeting with District Superintendent/Monday; Vacation planned August 16 -23, continuing
sermon series from Romans.
Christian Education: VBS/August 4-6, 6 to 7:30 pm, set-up Aug. 3, CORE will not meet. Confirmation will
begin mid-September, Jesus After School to continue this fall, BBQ to Canoe, Boundary Waters Canoe Trip
needs overnight accommodations for August 12.
Financial: Financial Secretary report given by Jan. Upon motion by Janell/Pat/carried/report approved.
Treasurer’s report given by Janell. Upon motion by Pat/Naomi/carried/report approved.
Trustees: Dead trees have been removed, property/garden fence has been installed, parking lot will be
striped, issues with outdoor lighting discussed
WICS: Couples bridal shower for Riley/Nikki planned for Father Hennepin picnic on July 12, Chili & Pie/ Oct. 22
Missions: Feed My Starving Children trip scheduled for Oct. 10
Other: Discussion on a new church pictorial directory. Motion Janell/Pat to produce a new directory in-house
as soon as feasible, carried and approved. Timeline to include updating membership list and researching
available computer program options.
