Think a Minute:
The Bible tells us that God is love and that He loves you and I unconditionally. This must be a truth to embrace for your life if you want to experience freedom, wholeness, and true success. God’s eternal love is healing, fulfilling, liberating, edifying, rejuvenating, and calming. It goes without saying that without full acceptance of His love in our lives, we are always striving, worried, anxious, and uncertain and true peace eludes us. We must also understand that God’s love is undying and everlasting; His love is always there for you. In fact, the Bible also tells us that nothing can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39). If there are barriers between God and us, we are the ones who put up those barriers to receiving it by our own doubts and fears. I heard once this statement: “When it seems that God is far away, guess who moved?” Amen!
My friends, if you doubt God loves you, go before Him and ask Him to help you sense His presence and His love. In order for you to heal, be made whole, and become enriched in your spirit and soul, you must do this often until it becomes part of you and is no longer something you have to grapple with. When you go before Him and seek Him earnestly, He will pour His love into you and it will grow. And…the more God’s love pours into you and fills you, it will free you to love others. Here is a prayer for each of us to pray this week:
“Dear Lord, please enable me to open up to Your love working in my life as never before. Wash over me with Your love today. Fill my heart with Your love in greater measure so that I can be the whole person You created me to be. Perfect Your love in me by helping me to love other people the way that You love them. Thank You, Lord, that your unfailing love and mercy surround me because I trust in You (Psalm 32:10). Amen and Amen!
